Workshop on “Introduction to the infrastructure and services of digital and electronic libraries” on Monday January 18, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. by Kateb Research Center through Zoom Conferencing Software. The presenter of this workshop was Dr. Hussain Baidokhti, PhD in Information Science. This webinar was participated by Dr. Sayed Hamid Mousavi, Director of Kateb Research Center, Sayed Jamaluddin hashemi, Head of Central Branch Library and Milad Jahangie, Head of Barchi Branch Library
At the beginning of the workshop, Dr. Sayed Hamid Mousavi, Director of Kateb Research Center welcomed the presenters and participants and gave a brief report on the situation of libraries at Kateb university.
Then, Dr. Hussein Beidokhti talked about the topics including definition of digital and electronic libraries, differences between digital and electronic libraries, resources management, accessing to resources by software, library software capabilities, access to e-library and classification of libraries to enter library software.
